Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using SnapSkill. These terms govern your access to and use of our platform, including all features, content, and services. If you have questions, email us at legal@snapskill.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SnapSkill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including learners, creators, and parents managing child accounts.

2. Use of Service

You may use SnapSkill only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service to engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 require parental consent. For children under 13, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account via Kids Mode.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@snapskill.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share your account with others or create accounts to circumvent restrictions. One account per person for free plans; team/organizational plans allow multiple seats.

4. Content

Creators retain ownership of all course content they publish on SnapSkill. By publishing content, you grant SnapSkill a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights. SnapSkill reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines without prior notice.

5. Payments & Refunds

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Course purchases are one-time payments. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. Course purchases are non-refundable after you have completed more than 30% of the course content. For billing disputes, contact billing@snapskill.com within 60 days.

6. Intellectual Property

SnapSkill's platform, branding, AI systems, and proprietary technology are owned by SnapSkill, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from SnapSkill's proprietary content without written permission. Feedback and suggestions you provide may be used by SnapSkill without obligation to you.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. SnapSkill may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. SnapSkill does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Educational content on the platform is for informational purposes; it does not constitute professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapSkill and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
